Rithmic Connection Drops R-Trader Pro Session (Apex Account)

Hello Sierra Chart Support, I am using a Rithmic connection provided by Apex Trader Funding. When I connect to the data feed via Sierra Chart, it forces a disconnection on my active R-Trader Pro session. This is not an absolute concurrent login limit from the broker, as I am able to connect both R-Trader Pro and Bookmap simultaneously using the exact same Rithmic credentials without any session drops. The disconnection only triggers when Sierra Chart connects. Are there specific Service Settings in Sierra Chart (e.g., connecting via the R-Trader Pro market data plugin vs. direct connection) that I need to adjust so Sierra Chart does not kick out the R-Trader Pro session? Please advise on the correct configuration to allow both to run simultaneously. Thank you, |

SC doesn't support the Rithmic plug-in mode, that's the reason why it kicks you out, so if you want to connect your prop-account with SC, you've to close R-Trader Pro before.

As User135243 points out, you can not have a connection to a Rithmic account with Sierra Chart and connect to that same account from elsewhere. We want to point out that this is due to how Rithmic developed the interface to Sierra Chart.
