Hello, Yesterday, I was creating presets for the Rectangle tool when I ran into a problem. When I use the Extend or Cut features, the Properties window doesn’t update—that is, the tool doesn’t change (please watch my video). https://youtu.be/BbosATf-8hc For example, if I cut an extended rectangle, a regular rectangle is created. However, the Chart Drawing Properties window does not reflect this immediately. I have to close it, click on the rectangle, and reopen it. Only then does the change take effect. Similarly, if I change the line width, fill color, or line style directly in the chart, none of these changes appear in the window until I close and reopen it. Why is this a problem? When I was creating presets for a regular rectangle, I was surprised that I couldn’t find them anywhere after saving. This was because they were actually saved as presets for an extended rectangle. This confused me a lot, and it took me a while to figure out why this was happening. If the user is not aware that extending or cutting a shape changes the tool, they will not be able to save the tool presets correctly. The same problem occurs when extending or cutting lines. Could you please ensure that the Properties window updates when changes are made? Thank you. |
