Hi there, I have my Large Volume Trade Indicator set to have a transparent draw style. It displays as expected and I can chance the transparency level in the subgraph settings... however, when I set the "Draw Volume Text" from "None" to either "Transparent" or "With Background", the volume bubbles become completely opaque and I cannot see the candles behind them, which renders the indicator unusable for me, so for now I have to use the indicator without overlaying the volume text on top of the large trade bubbles. I'm sure its likely I am missing some other kind of setting. Appreciate it if anyone can point out what's going on here, thanks. |

This is the way this study functions. When you display the text, the markers become opaque and do not have an option to continue to be transparent.

John, Just a quick question on this. Would it be possible to allow the Markers to have a transparent draw style that did not affect text? I'd like to use transparent circles, for instance, but if I do, my text pretty much disappears. Perhaps if the text weren't plotted at the same location as the marker??? Keep in mind, I ask this knowing NOTHING about how one might affect the other when they are both drawn at the same place. And if it would be too tedious to get done, I'll accept a quick short "That wouldn't be something we could do" as an answer. :) Thanks bud! |

It's hard to say what can or can not be done without spending time in the code. Sometimes, things are setup a particular way, just due to the original architecture choices of how the code is built. In this case, I do not know. There was another post on this topic where engineering stated that they would look into it. That does not mean they will resolve it, just that they will take a look and if it is something easier to do, then they will probably do it. But if it is more difficult, then we will probably not hear anything about it.
