Trading via Sierra, while using DTN IQ Feed data service

Hi guys,

I need to use IQ Feed for a 3rd party analytics app, and would like to continue using Sierra for order execution. The idea is to avoid paying multiple market data fees to exchanges (once for Denali, and again for DTN IQ Feed). This would all run on the same computer.

1. Does DTN IQ Feed still reliably work with Sierra as a source of market data? Any limitations on Sierra's side on working together on the same computer with another app, both using IQ Feed?

2. Can I use CQG or IBKR for trading connection only, while getting market data via IQ Feed, inside of same instance of Sierra? I suppose Teton is not in the play anymore if not using Denali market data.

3. Would Sierra be able to chart exchange-originated Futures Spreads via IQ Feed (as you now can via Denali), with some reasonable duration of history backfill for those spreads? In this case, trades would be executed solely via CQG, as your IBKR API connection does not support futures trading of spreads.

Thank you!

1. DTN works fine with Sierra Chart. We are not certain about whether there would be an issue with multiple connections from the same computer - that is something you would need to check with DTN.

2. No. Sierra Chart is setup so that you are getting the data from your connected trading service or from Sierra Chart. There is no support for getting data from one third party to trade with another third party.

3. You would need to check with DTN on what data they have available
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
