Good morning, First of all, please excuse any inaccuracies in this message: I’m using an online translator. I wanted to know if this operation is technically possible in Sierra Charts. To organize my thoughts and make the question clearer, I’ll use numbering: 1) I scroll back through any chart. For example: from January 2, 2026, to today 2) On the left side of the chart, I place a “last” 63-day histogram volume profile 3) On the right side of the chart, I place a 5-day “last” volume profile histogram 4) Once this is done, in manual mode, I scroll the chart forward: from January 2, 2026, onward—I need to set the first chart from January 2, 2026, to March 31, 2026 (63 trading days = approximately 3 months) 5) Within this date range, the program must automatically calculate the VP last on the left and the VP last on the right 6) Then, still in manual mode, I set the chart from January 3, 2026, to April 1, 2026—within this date range, the program must automatically calculate the VP last on the left and the VP last on the right 7) Then, still in manual mode, I set the chart from January 4, 2026, to April 2, 2026—within this date range, the program must automatically calculate the VP last on the left and the VP last on the right—and so on indefinitely, always using the same method 8) It is essential to me that this manual date setting, described in points 4–5–6–7 above, be done ONLY ONCE and in a quick and simplified manner—I am asking you this specific question because I use Multichart, your “rival,” on MCT. On MCT.net, to perform this same operation, the program forces me to set two date ranges: one for the start and end dates of the volume profile on the left (63 days) and another for the start and end dates of the volume profile on the right (5 days). In essence: on MCT.net, two charts of the same market and with the same time frame are “merged” together. Each of these two charts contains a different volume profile. For me, this is a redundant operation and double the work. I kindly ask: is it possible to achieve what I’ve described on SierraChart? If so, could you send me a detailed written guide? Or could you walk me through the steps in detail? I look forward to your response. Thank you |
