Hi,

I'm trying to create conditional orders but got stuck completely. I have a chart(NVDA) with a trade symbol of an option. I can place MIT orders and thought that it would do the trick but IB shows that as an option order and not based on underlying price but option price. What I want is something simple like sell my option if underlying price is hitting xxx. What do I miss? AI is talking about setting trigger symbol but cannot find it. So how can I create conditional orders like that? I attach pics to show what I mean

A "Triggered Limit" order would do what you want. Set the "Trigger" to be the price on the NVDA-NQTV chart and set the Limit price to be above the market price of the Option (this will get you in at the Market price of the option). Refer to the folowing:
Order Types: Triggered Limit
