To: SC TEAM What: In newest pre-release you introduced a new feature in VOLUME study: "Automatically Adjust Bar Width (ln:1) with options for "Input Value" set as "Yes" and "No" Problem:?!: When you set that to "No" Width goes to 1 and CAN'T be set to any other value as I can see !! If you intended that kind of behavior/functionality-then ignore my observation !! Thanks a lot All the best |

Sorry, that was a mistake. That option was not supposed to be released. We will remove it in the next Pre-Release.

This was something I was personally working on. I thought it should be an easy change, but for some reason the widths were not updating fast enough - there was always a lag, and I could not figure out why it was occurring. And we have not had time to dig deep into why it was doing this. The release was a mistake - I had made another change to the Zig Zag study, which was in the same file, and forgot about the Volume study change, so when I committed my change for the Zig Zag, the Volume change went in as well. Once we realized this thanks to the original poster in this thread, the change for the Volume study was pulled back out in PreRelease 2902. Hopefully we can take a look at why there is a lag in the drawing of the Volume bars sometime soon, but we can't make any promises. And it could just be something we can't overcome due to how the software is setup - we really do not know. that's a shame , it was working fine for me as far as I could tell. As a side note, Since all the recent updates over the last few months (changes to the way Sierra handles the chart update timers and graphics??) my M1 Macbookpro 16gb with parallels and the arm64.exe. is running Sierra lightning fast like never before and is using between about 1/4 and 1/3 of the Mac CPU it did. Ram use is about the same or a bit less. It really is night and day :) Amazing work and much appreciated! |
