There are gaps on the 'Cumulative Delta Bars - Volume' study when the chart is set to 'Volume Per Bar'. I tested on 3K, 1.5K, 1K and lower volume for the ES contract. There are gaps visible. These gaps are not visible if the chart is set to 3 minutes or 1 minute bars. I added two screenshots of the ES today. Time zone is ET. I tested also on a new SC instance and got the same results. Is there a technical reason for these gaps? Is there a solution? Thanks in advance.

The reason you are getting gaps in areas other than the start of the session, is that you have the option for "Split Data Records" set to "Yes". You need to set this to "No" to avoid this issue. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Split Data Records (applies to Number of Trades, Volume and Range charts) (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Chart Data menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
