Hello, I'm subscribed to CBOE Global Indexes exchange data and all symbols are working correctly (VIX_CGI, VIX9D_CGI, VIX3M_CGI, VVIX_CGI, TNX_CGI, TYX_CGI, FVX_CGI) except for SKEW_CGI. The last data point I have for SKEW_CGI is from November 28, 2025. No new data has been received since then. I've verified that CBOE is still actively publishing the SKEW Index (current value ~147.60). I'm aware that CBOE proposed methodology changes to the SKEW Index in mid-2025 (consultation period ended June 2025). Is it possible that the feed format or symbol changed as part of that transition? Steps I've already tried: - Confirmed other CGI symbols are receiving data normally - Verified CBOE Global Indexes exchange is enabled in my account Questions: 1. Has the SKEW_CGI symbol been renamed or replaced? 2. Is this a known issue with the Denali feed? 3. Is there anything I can do on my end to restore data (re-fetch symbols, etc.)? Thank you for your help. |

If there is no data for this symbol, then there is no data. Most likely because the particular subscription we have with the CBOE does not include this particular symbol.

Thank you for the quick response and clarification. I understand that the CBOE subscription may not currently include the SKEW Index. All other CBOE Global Indexes symbols are working perfectly on my end. I'd like to formally request that SKEW_CGI be considered for inclusion in a future update to the CBOE Global Indexes feed subscription, if possible. The SKEW Index remains actively published by CBOE and is widely used by volatility traders alongside VIX and VVIX for risk assessment. No urgency on this — just flagging it as a request for whenever the CBOE subscription is reviewed or renewed. Thank you for the excellent service. |

We do see that SKEW_CGI is included in the data feed that we receive, but there is no data coming for it. We will see if we can figure that out.

We now realize what the problem is. This is only an end of day value. So you need to use a historical daily chart: https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1777301534693.png Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thank you for investigating and resolving the SKEW_CGI issue. Confirmed it works on a Historical Daily chart. I'd like to report a possible bug with the auto-scale for this symbol: When using Scale Range: Automatic, the Y-axis range is set between 1600-1634, while actual SKEW values are between 135-165. The data is completely off-screen. Is this a known issue or is there something I need to adjust on my end? |

We are not seeing any issue with the scaling for the SKEW_CGI symbol. See the attached image of what we see. Please be sure to reset the scale to ensure that it is finding the data correctly. Refer to the following: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Resetting the Scale Please get us an image of what you are seeing. And please tell us what "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Current Selected Service" is set to. Thank you. Resetting the scale via Chart >> Reset Scale resolved the issue. SKEW_CGI is now displaying correctly. Appreciate the help. |
