Using the the color bar alert, I would like to have the draw style (star) locate on the top of the indicator chart instead of the bottom. I have tried maxing the percentage/tick option but that doesn't seem to help. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

We are a bit confused by your question, as there is no support for having an item display at the "Bottom" of the chart in the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" study. There is also no direct option for displaying at the Top of the chart.

If I set up a Color Bar based on Alert Condition in Chart Region 3 and give it a Draw Style of "star", the stars will appear at the bottom of Region 3 on my chart. I would prefer it display in the top part of Region 3. I realize there is no option for this but was wondering if you had another idea of how to display this since I have two different alerts within that region. Thanks again!

The fact that it is ending up at the bottom of the region is related to the resulting value for that study. This is controlled by the "Output When Condition is True" Input.

Therefore, if that region keeps a consistent range, then you can use the option for "Use Custom Value" and set it to whatever value is visible at the top of the region.

But if the region changes scaling (i.e. there is not a consistent value to enter for the top of the range), then the best option is to set "Output When Condition is True" to be "Use Input Data" where "Use Input Data" is set to whatever item represents the top of something that is displayed in that region. Then you can use the Offset options to push the item a bit higher so it is not interfering directly with the study displayed in that region.

The documentation for the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" is here:

Your suggestion of using custom value worked perfectly. Much appreciated!!!
