I wrote a study for holiday reminder, so you will never have to worry that you would forget a holiday when market is closed (or close early), it reminds you on the holiday and one day ahead.
In case you need instructions on how to build custom studies from source code, here is the link: How to Build an Advanced Custom Study from Source Code or follow this "Cheat Sheet":

step 1: copy the attached file into "C:\SierraChart\ACS_Source\"
step 2: Analysis -> Build Custom Studies DLL
step 3: in "Build Advanced Custom Studies" window, go:
File -> Select Files (choose HolidayCheck.cpp)
step 4: Build -> Remote Build - Standard (close window when done)
step 5: Anaysis -> Studies
step 6: click "Add Custom Study" button around bottom left

If I fixed any problems/issues after it had been added to "User Contributed Studies", I will update the .cpp file attached to this post.

July 04, 2026 updates:
- "Flash Message" didn't work, fixed;

- added "Test Message", so you can adjust input values even when there is no holiday.

- improved efficiency

Hi Engineering Team,

I saw the new "User Contribute Studies" that includes this study, that is quite a compliment to an amateur coding hobbyist, thanks.

I just noticed that I didn't add description, my bad, didn't realize that, I fixed it and tested. (attached .cpp in post #1)

Not sure if it is possible to update in future version, if it would be too much work for you guys, please leave it as is, either way is perfect.

Thanks again!
