Hello: My account fees are all current. Yet, when I just logged on, my data feed did not connect. I got a message that "No trade account assigned". Do I need to have a futures trading account in order to use Sierra Charts?

At the moment, I just want to watch the markets from Sierra Charts. Not trade futures.

"Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Current Selected Service" needs to be set to "SC Data".

For some reason you have it set to "Teton CME Routing", for which you do not have an account, and is the reason you are getting that message and the system is not connected.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
