My main window has User Defined range from 6309 to 6670, to make all candle bars appear stay in the middle of the chart, but my sub instance (exactly same window height etc.) has to set from 6404 to 6765, to make all candle bars display at same location in the chart window, I checked, Chart->Chart Settings->Scale, all the settings are identical, I must missed some other settings in different locations? Thanks so much. |

Please get us a single image of the two charts together so we can see how this is setup.

Thanks John, Here is the screenshot of ES mini at 9 am Eastern on Mar 24, the chart on the left is the sub-instance. If I use the same numbers in sub-instance, the bars would appear ~95 points higher. I used the cross hair to hover on the same bar on both charts, the numbers on the value scale are both correct. When you took the images of the charts, were they actually setup next to each other and that is a single image? Or did you take two separate images and splice them together? We are a bit confused, as the Current price in the chart on the left is 6587.50 and on the right it is 6589.50. Are these charts on different screens with different resolutions? Thanks John. My bad, should have explained it in my response. So, I have 2 external monitors, one running the main program, one running the sub instance, both screens have identical resolution, 1080x1920. I just asked my screenshot program to shoot all screens. I put both chart on replay, trying to match the time when I sent the original post, they are couple seconds apart because the times when I pressed the play button are slightly different. Are the screens the same size? If you put the two windows on the same monitor with the same settings, do they then match up as you expect? For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

They didn't match, anyway, just a quick update, John, I copied the Chartbook from Sub Instance Data folder to Main Data folder and problem fixed, I backed up the corrupted Chartbook, just in case if you need to take a look, other than that, everything works fine now.
