We went to do this, but we could not find the Interactive Brokers symbol specifications for this symbol. If you have a link to them, please provide that.

Yes, SIC-######-COMEX-USD (which I used as a Trade symbol in Global symbols for the SI contract) works fine, I tested it by sending an order to TWS (from Sierra).

But please setup the correct tick size/value for SIC, as SIC (100oz silver) has a different tick size/value from the big SI silver contract, so this causes me an issue where in the chart and DOM, where I view the SI contract (but trade via Trade symbol SIC 100oz contract) if I accidentally place the order on the higher-granularity price of the SI (displayed in the chart and in the DOM) the order gets rejected by IBKR because of invalid price, so I have to manually adjust it 0.005 up/down for the order to pass. I guess P/L is not correct because of the same issue of mismatched ticks between the main chart contract and trade contract.

I would appreciate your instructions on how to setup this properly in chart and DOM for the P/L and orders placement to work as expected, after you add SIC to Symbols.

BTW the same issue exists with currency micros already entered into global symbols (e.g. M6E for 6E), where ticks granularity of the micro currency contracts are not the same as for the big contracts, so P/L is not correct (it is double of what it really is) and there is an issue of accidentally placing an order on a price (of a big contract) which does not exist on the micro (which is used as a Trade symbol) which causes an error and I have to manually move it around to a correct price for it to be accepted. I guess all currency micros will have the same issue, I just tried it on EURUSD one.

This has now been added:

SIC-######-COMEX-USD

Follow the instructions here to update the Symbol Settings:
Global Symbol Settings: Update Global Symbol Settings

The Tick Size of the chart needs to be set according to the trade symbol, to avoid incorrect prices when entering orders:
Chart Settings: Tick Size (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol Settings menu)
