Including dynamic Subgraph values (Target Price) and math (Pip distance) in Simple Alert m

Hello, I am currently using Simple Alerts on my studies (like Pivot Points and Envelopes) with conditions such as =(CROSSFROMABOVE(C, SG2)). I forward the Sierra Chart Alerts Log to my phone via the "ntfy" app, which works perfectly. However, I need to include dynamic data in the text of the alert message itself. For example, if the price crosses the S2 Pivot, I want the text message to explicitly state the exact value of the main Pivot (which would be my target price), and ideally the distance in pips between the current price and that target. Is there a supported syntax or a specific built-in method to include study subgraph values and simple math calculations directly inside the alert text message that gets logged/sent out? (Note: I spent hours trying to figure this out with AI, but it just hallucinated non-existent features and was completely useless. I am looking for the proper Sierra Chart solution, if one exists without having to write custom ACSIL code.) Thank you. |

There is no support for this with the built-in alerts. The only option would be a custom study in which you send the alert notification from your study. This allows for custom messaging. Refer to the following: ACSIL Interface Members - Functions: sc.AlertWithMessage() https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartStudyAndSystemProgrammers.php For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
