Would it be possible to add Midline Width and Midline Style parameters to the Rectangle tool? Many traders use Fair Value Gaps (FVG) in their analysis, typically drawn using the Rectangle tool. However, the midline (often called Consequent Encroachment in ICT methodology) is generally considered less significant and is preferably displayed with a thinner line — ideally dashed or dotted. Unfortunately, this is currently not possible, as the midline inherits the outline's line settings. When a trader draws a rectangle on a higher timeframe and switches to a lower one, it is often impossible to quickly distinguish whether a given line represents the midline or the rectangle outline — requiring them to switch back to the higher timeframe to confirm. This unnecessarily complicates the analysis. If the midline had its own independent graphic settings (width, style, and ideally also color), this extra step would no longer be needed. I would greatly appreciate it if the Midline Width, Midline Style (and possibly Midline Color) settings could be added to the Rectangle tool. Thank you very much for considering this request. |
