Yesterday I upgraded from 2870 to 2888. Spreadsheet sorting has a serious problem which causes Sierra Chart to stop responding. I first noticed this when I was sorting a Quote Spreadsheet with a bunch of data in it, but it appears that the problem is not related to the data in question.

File, New Quote Spreadsheet.
Click in cell A2.
Right click and select Sort.
Leave defaults (sort column A, Ascending) and click OK.

After that, SC is no longer functioning. If you try, for example, to do another File, New Quote Spreadsheet, windows says SC has stop responding.
I tried it on Linux with Wine, and it also crashes.

Version 2870 was working OK, so the problem was introduced sometime after that.

The problem is not only in Quote Spreadsheets; sorting a regular spreadsheet also fails.

For now I can work around this by copying the data into LibreOffice Calc and sorting it there, but that's a bit of a hassle, and of course you don't want SC failing like this anyway. Maybe I'll revert to 2870 for now.
