Recently transitioned from CQG to Teton and noticed that the max open loss/profit values appear to be incorrect.

I tested both MES and ES in order to determine whether the issue might be related to symbol settings, tp/sl ticks, or contract sizes.

Interestingly, with MES the values appear correct up to 6 contracts, but beyond that point the reported values become incorrect. With ES, the values appear incorrect across different contract sizes.

References to “profit/loss calculation rounding error”, might explain the issue. However, I do not understand why this would occur only at specific contract sizes, and whether similar behavior could also occur when trading live.

Thank you.

We see the reason for the problem and we are working on resolving it but not sure how best we can do that because it is due to floating-point error.
