Error message on live account when putting in manual stop

I was hoping you can clarify/help with something. On a live environment, I've put in a limit order with an attached 8 tick emergency stop. Order goes through and i'm in the trade. The trade goes against me and I'm trying to get out with a stop prior to it hitting my emergency stop. I use a keyboard shortcut for a stop. But when I click for the stop, I get an error. see attached. Thank your for your help.

If there is an error in the Trade Service Log, follow these instructions to provide that:

Most likely the order is getting rejected by the exchange. You really should not be using a stop in this way.

And really the proper way to do what you want is simply to use Flatten:
