Hi Sierra Chart Support, I have a couple of setup questions to make sure I understand how everything works before moving forward: If I am only paper trading and using Rithmic Trader Pro for charting, do I need to have a broker connected to Sierra Chart, or can I use Sierra Chart with Rithmic alone? If I purchase a Sierra Chart package (for example, Level 10 or above), will I receive live market data from Rithmic without having an active brokerage account connected, or would the data be delayed in that case? I want to ensure I fully understand the setup requirements so I can configure everything correctly. Thank you for your help! |

You can use Sierra Chart with Rithmic for both trading and data. So you would not need a specific brokerage account in this case, as you are getting the data from Rithmic. Just be aware that Rithmic has a lack of historical data, so if you need historical data, then we recommend using our Denali Exchange Data Feed instead, where you would need a brokerage account in order to get the CME Group data at the Non-Professional rates.
