I saved the chartbook before I closed Sierra Chart, and then I closed the program reopened Sierra went to reopen chartbook and nothing loads. How do I get back all of the charts?

We would like to see the chartbook that is not properly loading for you. Please attach it to this thread for us to take a look by following these instructions:

In the meantime, you can use one of the backup chartbooks we make for the system. Refer to the following for how to do this:

When I follow these steps To find the location of this folder, select Global Settings >> General Settings >> Paths on the Sierra Chart menu, snd pen the folder nothing is in the folder. When I go to my files in my computer there is nothing under Desktops or downloads ( I am on a Mac ) .

When I follow the steps for the backups there is nothing in the backups either.

If it happens to be gone how can I make sure the fully save in the future?

If Sierra Chart is working, in that you can open chartbooks and have data, then there can not be nothing in the 'Data' folder.

But it could be possible that the backups are not being created properly due to the emulator. We really do not know, as we do not work with emulators at all.
