moved from 2861 to 2870 on my live trading install, and there is now a ~1sec lag when switching chartbook tabs. My other installs on 2870 are perfect, snappy, and have no problems. The problem is having a trade window active - either floating or attached to a chart. Remove trade windows = snappy switch between chartbooks There is no lag switching from a chartbook with a trade window active to a chartbook without a trade window active. But if a trade window is active ther is approx 0.5-1sec lag switching to that chartbook for it to load up (tried OpenGL on or off) Sounds minor, but it's very distracting, and for my trading install, I had to roll back. |

okay, sorry I didn't realise this had been explained previously. so accept the slight lag flicking between chart books for reassurance the chart book is most stable and price action and behaviour is most accurate in version 2870. I'm sure I can get used to it within a day. is it a possibility the switching lag can be overcome in future versions? |
