Sierra Chart Version: 2813 Service: Denali Exchange Data Feed Symbol: MES (continuous MES##_FUT_CME) and MNQ Chart Type: 1-minute Intraday Issue: The "Load Bid/Ask Update Only Intraday Records" option is missing from the Chart Settings → Symbol tab for MES/ MNQ futures charts. It does not appear even after creating a new chart, updating from server, or resetting to default. I have already: - Set Global Settings → Symbol Settings for MES##_FUT_CME → clicked "Update From Server" - Set Intraday Data Storage Time Unit = 1 Tick - Set Record Interval = 1 Tick - Deleted data and re-downloaded - Restarted Sierra Chart But the option still does not show up in per-chart Symbol settings. Attached screenshot of Global Symbol Settings window for MES##_FUT_CME showing no bid/ask related options. This prevents live intrabar bid/ask updates in my custom ACSIL study so provisional dots only appear at bar close, not mid-bar. Please advise how to enable per-tick bid/ask recording for MES and or MNQ continuous contracts. Very Respectfully Kelly Alton |

Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data >> Load Bid/Ask Update Only Intraday Records Chart Settings: Load Bid/Ask Update Only Intraday Records (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data menu) This prevents live intrabar bid/ask updates in my custom ACSIL study so provisional dots only appear at bar close, not mid-bar.
No that is not the cause, it is certainly a problem with how the study is coded. Even without the Bid/Ask Update Only Intraday Records, the bid/ask is updated/recorded when each trade occurs. |
