alright lads, i want to trade bitcoin but not futures contracts. i have an interactive brokers account, which i've linked, with crypto currency trading enabled but i can't find the symbol in the symbol list. where am i going wrong and how do i go about doing it please? i recall a while back seeing the symbol available and am wondering if i'm on the wrong package Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-01-19 15:27:53

to be specific, my issue is that i need to line up IBKR BTC (PAXOS) data on my sierra charts platform otherwise the charts look completley different and the prices are different too. my plan is to use sierra for charting and ibkr for entries and exits. i need to use ibkr as my funds are sat with them

You need to enter the appropriate symbol for the Interactive Brokers. We do not know what this is. Interactive Brokers uses a complicated symbology, so you need to check with them on what the actual symbol is.
