Hi,
I'm currently using the trade copier, no problems. I was wondering, lets say i have 10 accounts, and i want to copy accounts 1-5, and accounts 6-10. I have been using two separate instances to do this. But I'm wondering if the order allocation is related to the chartbook/trade window, meaning, can I just use a diff chartbook set up to copy accounts 6-10?

Thanks

The Order Allocation is tied to the Trade Window. Therefore, you only need to have two different charts to setup what you want.

But, if you are using the same "parent" account to trade accounts 1-5 and then 6-10, then this would create a problem with the orders for that parent account, as you would be double-entering for that one.

But as long as you have a parent for each - so Parent1 for accounts 1-5 and Parent2 for accounts 6-10, then this is not a problem.

Okay awesome. One more question, is there any other place in SC that we can view the current active/parent account outside of the trade window?

Thanks

It can be displayed on the chart in the upper left corner. Refer to the following setting for this:
Global Trade Settings Windows: Display Trade Account on Chart/Trade DOM (Global Settings >> Chart Trade Settings >> General >> Other)

Otherwise, there is not another place to view the active trade account.

You could always create a custom study to display the active Trade Account where you want it using the Drawing tools. Refer to the following:
ACSIL Interface Members - Variables and Arrays: sc.SelectedTradeAccount
