Hotkey to CHANGE Trade and Current Quote Symbol Action?

Hi, I have two issues one I think I fixed myself I have hotkeys 1-6 to change order sizes and couldn't go into Set Quantity buttons and change the quantities clearly since those hotkeys are taken the sizes there don't work. I don't have the number 7 used and it worked so that was clearly that issue. Just easy for me to use numbers there but will set to shift 1 shift 2 etc to avoid t his issue in future. I am now copy trading many prop firm accounts and realized today there are some good trades I want to just trade minis on vs micros so curious if there's a hotkey option to Remove the Trade and Current Quote Symbol I'd like to remove it OR change it to NQH6.CME so it trades the minis vs micros. The commissions on minis are far cheaper and there are times where its worth risking much more on trades I found out today I made so much more trading minis however many times want to trade the micros as the trades are far less probable! |

You should not use single key shortcuts for exactly this reason. The solution, as you note, is to use a modifier key (Ctrl, Alt, Shift) with the option you want. There is not a built-in option to remove the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" for a chart. The best option would be to have different charts setup so that one would have the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" set and the other not, so you can trade from the appropriate chart for what you want. You could create a custom study tied to a keyboard shortcut to change the Trade And Current Quote Symbol as you want.
