I am experiencing an issue where “phantom”/preset-looking order levels appear on the chart during Replay Mode, and those orders automatically execute trades when replay price reaches those levels — even though there are no working orders showing in the Trade Orders window. Environment / Context: Trading Mode: Sim Using Replay Mode for practice Chart Trade Mode enabled on the charts for replay practice Instrument: MES (contract rollover involved, Z25 → H26) Multiple linked charts (TPO/footprint/time chart) Core Issue (most important): During replay, I see trade/position/order-related levels plotted on the chart (below/away from current price). When replay price later approaches those levels, a trade is automatically entered/executed (without me clicking Buy/Sell). This looks like preset/held orders firing, but: Trade Orders window shows no orders (empty) Trade Activity Log shows no entries consistent with me placing those orders I have already used: Trade → Clear Trade Simulation Orders & Data (confirmed) Auto Trading Enabled - Global has been turned off Despite this, the chart still behaves as if there are orders “stored” somewhere and they execute automatically during replay when price reaches them. Additional Observations: The charts appear “loaded” with simulated trade data / historical trade markers Clearing simulation orders/data does not reliably remove the plotted levels or stop the auto-executions Disabling Chart Trade Mode prompts trade data clearing, but it’s unclear what is being cleared and what should remain for replay Questions / Clarification Needed: Where are these replay/sim “order levels” being stored if Trade Orders is empty? What exact procedure fully clears them so they cannot auto-execute during replay? What settings could cause replay to execute orders automatically (e.g., held orders, trade presets, attached orders, trade service settings, replay-related trade state)? What is the recommended workflow so replay trading never contaminates my live chartbook, especially around contract rollover? I have provided screenshots showing the chart state and the unexpected trade executions. Thank you Ricardo |

When running a replay, if you have not cleared the trade data for the selected account, then you will see those trades show in the chart at the time they occurred. Keep in mind that even if you have cleared the Simulated trading data, you can have a "live" account selected in the "Trade Window" for the replaying chart, in which case you will see those "live" trades showing up. Refer to the following for how to select the account for a chart: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM) Another possibility is that you have an automated trading study setup for your chart, in which case, if everything is setup appropriately, then it will create simulated orders during a replay. First of all, are you in Simulation Mode or Live Trading? To check this look at "Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On" and see if it has a checkmark next to it. If it does, then you are Simulation Mode. Put aside what is occurring during a replay for right now. Are you seeing orders occurring outside of a replay without your interaction?
