Hello, I want to practice with free delayed data with account balance and my trade statistics. I’m just confused on which one should I use. You have two options. The simulated service and the trade simulator. Don’t know if they are worded correctly but there are 2 that I read through. Based on my needs above which one should I pick. Free delayed data with the $36 advanced feature package. Thank you

You can use any package and have access to both simulation options.

As to which one you use, it is up to you. Both work fine with the Delayed Streaming Data, you just have to make sure you select the correct service if you are using the "Simulated Futures Trading Service".

In the end, the main difference between the two options is that the "Simulated Futures Trading Service" is a client-server setup, so it works more closely to what you would see with actual trading, at least in terms of interactivity with the server. This is especially true if you hold longer trades and may want to turn off your system and let the exchange (simulated futures trading service) handle the trade and close out based on your attached orders.

The other item of note is that the "Simulated Futures Trading Service" allows you to set an Account Balance and margins. Again, so it is a bit more realistic. The built-in Simulation Mode does not have these items, so you are only looking at profit/loss per trade in the system.
