I am trying to filter the amount of days exporting into my text file. I have already change days to load to 2 and changed the date range and limiting method, when i change the 'Date range in File From' it automatically goes back to the original date once i hit enter which is preventing me from changing it and continuing to export a huge amount of excess days. I've changed my 'Load Data Limiting Method' to 'Use Date Range' and changed 'Load Data Limiting Method: Date Range' to correct days. I've tried exporting bar data which is not necessarily what i need but it still didn't work. I Also deleted, reloaded and recalculated the data after all changes... What could be the issue, I'll leave a reference screenshot below to show my changes.

We assume you are using the "Edit >> Export Intraday Data to Text File". If this is the case, then what you are doing is exporting the data that exists in the data file (.scid file) for that symbol. The "Date Range in File From" can be changed to an earlier date, but it can not be changed to a later date. This date reflects the actual earliest date of data in the file. Changing it to an earlier date will download more historical data trying to go back to where you requested the data. But if data does not exist that far back, then it will show where the earliest data is. Changing it to a more recent date does not remove any data from the file, and it will continue to show the same date (as you have found). The easiest way to do what you want would be to make a 1 tick chart and then export the chart data using "Edit >> Export Bar Data to File". But, if you want to use the "Edit >> Export Intraday Data to Text File", then you would need to change your "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download >> 1 tick data" to the number of days you actually want the data for. Keep in mind that this is the number of days going back from the current day and time. Then select "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You will then only have the number of days you defined above downloaded into the file. You can then export it as you want.
