Chat dialog keeps popping up in 2778

Hi, I've had my ntfy notifications running for some time now, maybe a year or so, and have been using the chat dialog for even longer to facilitate that. I updated to 2778 today and every alert I get, the chat notification pulls up in the foreground, what can I do about this? Thanks |

This should not happen so long as the chat window is not closed. Keep it open and just minimize it and it should not come to the foreground.

Ok so I've narrowed it down to a few diff instances. If I keep it on my main desktop (windows) and minimize it, it's ok. If I don't minimize it, it always pop up in the front. If I move it to another desktop, regardless of minimized or not it will pop up when the chat has a message. This did not used to be the case, it used to always stay in the background, minimized or not, and I've been moving it to a 2nd desktop since I started using it without any issues.

We are reading over your post #3 again more carefully. If you are closing the Chat window and a new alert message is generated that goes to the chat, the Chat window will open. That does make sense.

To clarify, I am keeping the chat window open 100% of the time. It is still popping up regardless of whether I minimize it, put it in a diff desktop, or just leave it open in the background. I believe the previous version that I was on where this did not happen was 2706.

We are not able to reproduce this. Are you absolutely certain you are not closing the chat window. It does not make any sense if the chat window is in the background and open or you are minimizing it, that when an alert message is added to a particular chat then it will, be brought into focus. This is not going to happen. We have tested this just now and do not see any issue. Also do you want to have, alert messages go to the chat so they can be sent to a mobile device?
