[Programming Help] - Risk management study to lock trading in Sierra and Rithmic

I'd like to develop a risk management study where trading is locked for X minutes after losing Y number of trades. I have found existing studies that allow this, however they only lock trading in Sierra and I can still trade through the Rithmic DOM. I have used plugins for other trading platforms that allow this kind of Rithmic lock and my understanding is they use the Rithmic plugin mode to control and lock Rithmic. Since Sierra doesn't support plugin mode, is there another way I can do this? Thanks
