How can I get my current day delta profile to overlap current day VBP, as seen on previous days (see attached image), with a side-by-side cumulative VBP?

Thank you.

You have a couple of options in this regard.
1. Add two Volume by Price studies to your chart and set them up to be "Multiple Profiles Based on Fixed Time". Set one to have a "Volume Bar Calculation Method" of "Total Volume" and the other to have a "Volume Bar Calculation Method" of "Ask Volume - Bid Volume" or "Diagonal Ask Volume - Bid Volume". Set other items as you want them.

Just make sure that whichever Volume by Price study has the Delta display is lower in the list in your "Studies to Graph".

Refer to the following:
Volume By Price Study: Volume Bar Calculation Method

2. Use a Single Volume by Price study with the "Volume Bar Calculation Method" set to "Total Volume". Then set the "Bid Volume and Ask Volume Coloring Method" to be one of the difference options. You can then use the "Draw Difference of Bid and Ask Volume Using Percent of Max Bar" option. Refer to the following:
Volume By Price Study: Bid Volume and Ask Volume Coloring Method

Volume By Price Study: Draw Difference of Bid and Ask Volume Using Percent of Max Bar

with a side-by-side cumulative VBP?

You can have as many profiles as you want on the right. Refer to the following:
Volume By Price Study: Right Aligning Volume Profiles with Space on Right Side of Chart

Thanks for your reply.

I've opted for option 1 as the delta calculation on the VBP itself is too small to see at this zoom level.

The problem I have is that I also have a cumulative VBP to the far right, and I'd like the current day delta profile to overlap the current day VBP as they display on previuos days.

Take a look at the current day in comparison to previous days.

Right now I'm getting 3 different profiles on the right side rather than 2 (1 cumulativeon far right and 2 current day overlapping).

Thanks.

Given that "Total Volume" profile is offset from the day, we think you have the option for "Always Display Last Profile within View" to "Yes". Change that Input for that study to "No".

Yes, I've tried this, but it makes my candlesticks print inside the profile which I'm not a fan of.

It works when current day is set to far right, and cumulative is second from right, or when cumulative is set to left aligned. Again, not a fan of either of these options.

Is there a way to make delta bars within VBP display better (more visible)?

The only other option remaining is that you can overlap the volume profiles on the far right by setting the option for "Allow Side-by-Side Profiles on Right Side" to "No" for the profiles that you want to overlap. Refer to the following:
Volume By Price Study: Allow Side-By-Side Profiles on Right Side
