Dear support I want to display the data for the VIX and the VIX futures for NQ. I activated the respective exchanges in my account but when i look for the symbol (see screenshot) I dont see anything related to NQ, maybe Im just missing it. please point me into the right direction. Thanks |

You need to select the option for "(Get All CBOE Global Indexes Symbols)" and then select the button for "Get Symbols". Then you can search through that list to find what you are looking for.

thank you. I guess I wasnt aware of this option. But still: 1) what is the symbol for NASDAQ VIX on cboe? i expected sth like VIXN but cant find anything that seems related (see screenshot) 2) what is the symbol for NASDAW Vix futures? in the second screenshot I only see options for S&P500. Is there anything related to NASDAQ? |

Please update to the latest release, as there have been changes to the list of symbols window that you get after you select the "Find Symbols" list. You can then search through the symbols in this case. Follow these instructions to update: Software Download: Fast Update The NASDAQ VIX Index symbol is VXN_CGI -- We only have data for the VIX Futures and Mini VIX Futues (what is listed).
