On 2025/09/27 SC2798 was made available on the download webpage as "Current version: 2798 (September 25, 2025)". On 2025/09/28 SC2789 was visible again as "Current version: 2789 (September 1, 2025)". What is the status now of the current release?? Is 2798 the latest stable version or 2789? It should be communicated more clearly if any release is being withdrawn. |

The concept of a stable versus unstable version, does not exist and we cannot answer anything in that regard. All versions are considered stable. The latest version is available is a pre-release. This is confusing - and certainly not aligned with common practices in the IT world. What is the status difference between the "Current Version" and the "PreRelease Version" (as labeled on the download page) then?? |

We do not know what may have occurred with the version number for the Current Version, and it is something that we will bother to dig into. If it was accidentally changed to the wrong version for a bit, then we apologize.
