Loss Trigger Value issue

Under Edit Trade Account / Manage Trade Account, I have set a value for "Loss Trigger Value in Account Currency." I then click "Committhe Tab" and get the validation/success message. I then click Update and get the "Update is successful" message. But in the Read Only Values section of the window, nothing is changed in "CalculatedLossTriggerValueInAccountCurrency (i.e. it shows 0 instead of the value I set)?" What is the issue?

Those fields do not work for live trading. They only apply for the "Trading Evaluator" service. Are you trying to use this with a Trading Evaluator account?

No, it is a live account (using Teton) - fwiw, the video does not say it only works for Trading Evaluator accounts... So, what are the options for setting a Daily Loss Limit on a live account within Sierra? The documentation for Global Profit Loss Management says NOT to use it and to follow the server side process I tried to set up.

The only option is the "Global Profit/Loss Management" that is built into the Sierra Chart software. We apologize for the documentation, the ability to use the Server Side Profit/Loss Management was available with Teton, but due to exchange regulations, we can no longer offer this functionality with live trading. We have updated the documentation related to this. We also softened the language in the Global Profit/Loss Management. It does work properly when fully understood and when the proper information is in your Sierra Chart. But it does need to be understood as to how it works to use it properly.
