Am I able to make a limit chase order work both directions so that it is effectively pegged to a certain offset from market? Results in order being filled on quick blips in which the system is too latent to revise the order in time. Or must this be done with an automated trading strategy? If so, can custom order types like this be implemented in a one click fashion executable on the dom? Cheers |

You would have to create a custom study to do this. Although we understand what you are saying in terms of the order only being filled on a quick jump, the concept of having a chase order move in both directions is fairly esoteric and not something we would implement. Refer to the following: Automated Trading From an Advanced Custom Study For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
