Hi, Apple processors since the M1 are built on an ARM architecture. Therefore, you need to use the ARM version of Sierra Chart for optimal performance. Have a nice day. |

There have been issues with the Message Log coming up empty running SierraChart_ARM64.exe under Parallels on Apple M1+ processors. Please followup on this thread if you have the same problem. I have an open support ticket with Parallels, so it would be informative to know what you see. You may be able to run Sierra's included studies just fine, but be aware that Custom Studies need to be built for ARM or they will not work. Sierra Chart is known to work well with Fusion, Crosstalk, and other emulators on Apple silicon. |

There is a general problem with the Message Log and Trade Service Log, where the "Message Categories", that control what information is displayed in these logs, has its settings all set to "No", therefore not showing anything in the logs. Please update to the latest release where this has been fixed, by following these instructions: Software Download: Fast Update For information on the "Message Categories", refer to the following: Message Categories For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I have confirmed this is no longer an issue with Parallels. Did this only impact new installations of SC? Why would all the categories be No by default?

There was a change on our end that caused this - it was not a Parallels specific issue - it was a general issue in a particular release.
