[Programming Help] - Same Symbol Settings?

i am trying to understand how symbol setting work and from what i see the ticker that i am trading (everyday is a different one) is using <symbol>????</symbol> or some time <symbol>???</symbol> and both have the same setting!?!? What i am trying to do is edit SymbolSettings.scdataallservices in sierra chart folder to make it super simple lightweight by removing everything except us stock that i have with my subscription [US Equities - Consolidated Tape (UTP & CTA)] and create one symbol setting is it possible? thx for any help really appreciate!!! |

You definitively cannot edit this file: SymbolSettings.scdataallservices.xml Any changes will simply be ignored and overwritten. To understand symbol settings, refer to: Global Symbol Settings You can create new symbol settings for a specific symbol or a symbol pattern.
