Hi guys,

I've found a really old Sierra chartbook setup that looks like it could be quite useful for "quick overview" of many markets, image attached.

The idea is to have mini-charts (which can be extended when needed) with some indicators on the left, but the key part is the right big "overview" chart. This one colors the background if the condition is satisfied for any of the charts on the left (based on those same indicators used on mini chart), it does not care about the actual price at the moment or anything else, its function is only to show that "something is happening" in the given time interval (60 mins in this example) on the left side in the specific mini chart, by coloring the background of (invisible?) bars in the big right chart. Neat thing is it displays data (for each mini chart) as regions and there is no price/scale, as it is not needed.

Does somebody know what would be the way to accomplish this? The actual conditions/studies on the mini charts used are not important, but only the technical part of which studies/overlays etc. to use on the left "mini" chart, and the right "overview" chart to accomplish this effect.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Think you answered your own question.

That setup is just charts with Ichimoku and the Color Background Based on Alert Condition study indicating if it's above, below or within the cloud.

On the right is a 60 min chart. Looks like Study Price Overlay used to plot the BBOAC from the mini charts into the subgraph panels.

The bars are there, you just can't see them because the main price graph is collapsed.
