Hi,

I wrote a code in a study "color bar based on alert condition" in connection with the “numbers bars calculated value” study, which I saved as a "study collection".

In my chartbook "numbers bars calculated value" is ID:1.

I sent the “color bar based on alert condition” study and the "numbers bars calculated value" study to a friend so that he could put it in his own charbook, and the study ID "numbers bars calculated value" changes.

So the code no longer works.

Is it possible to send everything without the study ID "numbers bars calculated value" changing in my friend's chartbook?

The study IDs have to change based on the setup your friend has. If there are existing studies with those IDs on his chart, then other IDs have to be assigned to the studies that are being added.

There are three options to solve this:
1. Load the study collection first, with no other studies on the chart. Then add the other studies.

2. Load the study collection with the other studies, then adjust the settings for the studies as necessary (i.e. change the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" to reference the appropriate Numbers Bars study.

3. Adjust the Study IDs of the studies so that the references are what is needed. This is a recent change within Sierra Chart to allow IDs to be changed. On the Study Settings window, there is an ID field that can be modified.
