data from a 2nd instance of sierra chart

hi,

i have a spreadsheet study for es that requires the input of the spx current price. this is easy to do because sierra chart provides the data service for the spx. i want to do the same spreadsheet study for nq and it requires the input of the ndx current price, however sierra chart does not provide the data service for the ndx. question is - if i run a 2nd instance of sierra chart, connect to a data service that provides ndx, and open an ndx chart, can i send the ndx current price from that 2nd instance to the es spreadsheet in the 1st instance?

You would have to create a custom study to do this. Note that you can not do it in any form of real-time. You would need to write out the data to a file, then read that file information into the other instance.
