Moin Moin. If I am opening a chartbook-group, which is taking about 5 minutes, on one desktop, and try to switch to another desktop (switched to by hitting Windows-key + Tab-key), it is opening the still unopened windows in the new desktop instead of the old one, here SC had been started. Can You, please see, whether they can be opened on the original screen, and maybe even in the background. this way, one could be starting ot work, whilst the chartbookgroup is being loaded (Right now SC chooses to display each chartbook upon loading it, switching between the chartbooks, but without giving the time to edit something). Do You, know, how to fix this. _Tschüß, __Michael. |

We do not know how to fix this. What you are referring to are the multiple desktops built into the Windows operating system. If you are switching desktops, it would make sense that new windows that are created would be created in the new Desktop. You would have to see if there is some option for this within the Operating System.

P.S.: his is indeed so. But from an organising perspective it is more sensible to have the new windows being opened on the old desktop.: 1. Mainly because it does not intermix windows from one SC with another ones, or with a working-Desktop holding other programmes. 2. Secondly, because the new desktop will be blicked by the new windows apperaing and disappearing for reach newly opened chartbook. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-06-26 20:15:32
