Is it possible to create a keyboard shortcut to not only specify an order type (ie "Buy at Market") but also with an associated quantity of shares? For example, customize a shortcut of "shift-F1" to "Buy 1000 shares at Market" and "Shift-F2" to "Buy 2000 shares at Market" and "Shift-F3" to "Buy 3000 shares at Market" etc? Thx |

There is not a way to do this using the built-in tools. The closest you can get is to setup "Trade Configurations" that are set to the quantities you want and change between them. You can setup keyboard shortcuts for these by first creating a Control Bar button and then the keyboard shortcut. Refer to the following: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Using and Changing Between Different Trade Window and Attached Orders Configurations You could create what you want through a custom study. Refer to the following: Automated Trading From an Advanced Custom Study: Programmatically Setting Trade Window Configuration https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartStudyAndSystemProgrammers.php For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Ok, I will try that. Is there a way to apply a keyboard shortcut, say the "Enter" key, to take over the function of the "Add" key in the "Associated Watch List" window? So that when the Associated WATCH LIST window is open with a ticker inside the "Find" menu, by hitting "Enter" the ticker is automatically entered into the watch list? I'm trying to eliminate the need to use the pointer to select and click on the "Add" button. |

There is nothing specifically built-into Sierra Chart for this. What you can do is use the Operating System options such as the Tab key to move between the selectable items on that window and then the Spacebar to select the item.

Something to look into if your up for it, is getting a QMK compatible keyboard. You can build and flash the keyboard with all kinds of custom macros, modifiers and layers. I have something similar to what your asking I have one key assigned to change to the buy X at market trade window config and then execute and then switch back to my default trade config so that way I don't forget I'm at buy/sell 4-6 and get into a trade with to many contracts then what i wanted.
