SC: Sometimes when I start the replay function using Sierra Charts, the replay function will instead freeze and only display downloading data but it never loads, so I have to shut down the software and start it back and always on the 2nd try it will replay. Any idea why? Still, SC charts are the best. I am running a Windows 11 machine with a 1 gig cable connection and 8 gigs of Ram. The charts themself work fine. It is just the replay function that I experience the freeze issue with. Also, the replay function seems to have the issue no matter the time of day or the day itself. Thanks again for a quality software. |

There are two items we want you to check the next time you try to run a replay: 1. Is the option for "Use Start Date-Time" enabled (has a check box)? If so, is the Start Date and Time that you have entered actually in the chart (is the data loaded far enough back in time that the date/time you are trying to start from has existing data in the chart)? 2. Do you have the option for "Start Paused" enabled (has a check box)? If so, then after the chart reloads, if you select the "Play" button a second time does the replay start properly?
