Short $TICK outages

Using SC's $TICK symbol, at least once every couple of days, I will get a several-minute outage. It's not my internet connection, because a "Delete and Download" does not change the data--it appears the actual data source is simply not reporting data for this period of time. Today it was around 14:42 ET for about 5 minutes. This is a 5 second chart showing the outage, notice the "flat line" from 14:42 to 14:47. I'm guessing this is a barchart thing, and not really a sierra thing, so maybe there's nothing you can do about it, but I'm just letting you know that they happen pretty often, so you guys can be aware of it.

We have let our data provider know about this.

This morning, on my SC copy connected to CTS, I am not getting my usual $TICK and $NSHF data. However, I am getting it on my other SC copy which is connected to SC's forex/CFD service. I usually get the data on both though. Is there a reason for this? I tried disconnecting and reconnecting but still get nothing.

EDIT: I am getting this in the log:
The data feed was lost. There was no activity for at least 30.0 seconds. | 2013-05-09 09:45:05
Connection to the service has been lost or not completed. | 2013-05-09 09:45:05
SC Index Data: Disconnected from the market data server. | 2013-05-09 09:45:05
Will reconnect to the server in 5 seconds. Select File >> Disconnect to prevent further connection attempts. To cancel, select File >> Disconnect on the menu. | 2013-05-09 09:45:05
SC Index Data: Connecting to the market data server. | 2013-05-09 09:45:10

It looks like I'm now getting $NSHF but not $TICK.

This is unusual. Does not make much sense. Everything looks OK from our side.
