Hi,

I setup and it works non attached limit up/down to move my limits and yank out of the way farther in fast moving markets.

The problem is I like to scale in progressively bigger to reduce initial risk, I often have small losses and bigger wins this way. When I hit hotkey to move a limit it moves the CLOSEST one and I need all of the scale ins moved.

How can I do this?

Also I really loved how Jigsaw Trader lets you click on price ladder to move stops and targets instantly to that price can this be done in Sierra??? I got out of fast moving markets so much quicker and with more ticks using that.

The only way to do this would be to use the Scale In option so that your Target is a single entity with total quantity of the trades that you have opened. Refer to the following:
Attached Orders: Scaling In

There is a right-click options for Move Targets to Price and Move Attached Stops to Price. Refer to the following:
Global Settings Menu: Customize Chart Trade Menu (Global Settings menu)

Hello,

There is a right-click options for Move Targets to Price and Move Attached Stops to Price. Refer to the following:
Global Settings Menu: Customize Chart Trade Menu (Global Settings menu)

This a great feature that I use everyday.
Unfortunately, this does not work when you Send Attached Orders by Position / Price after an initial order without attached order.

Same thing with Hotkeys for Move Attached Targets / Stops to Price.

Could you make this work when sending attached orders after an "entering position naked" order ?
thanks,
JM

We will have to see but in this case they are not considered standard Attached Orders.

John I attempted your directions for scale ins however when I use hotkey to MOVE the limits it ONLY MOVES the closest one.

So for instance if S&P ES is 4000 and I have a sell above at 4003 and 4005 and market is approaching fast and I want to yank them further away when I hit the hotkey to move limit order up it moves the bottom one from 4003 to 4003.25 but the 4005 order DOES NOT MOVE.

I want BOTH orders to move with hotkeys, for me this is essential. I played with directions and trying every combo of options I could and it still doesn't work for me.

I see now that once order hits highest one it then yanks them up but they are now 1 tick apart vs 2 points apart. I want the above order in this case to always be 2 points above as that's my next scale.

If you want your Targets to be separate, then the Scale In option will not work. The whole point of Scale In is to increase the position of the existing target, so it will be at the same position. This way you would have just the one Target with a higher quantity. Therefore it would move with the keyboard shortcut, since there is no other one.

But, this does not sound like what you want, in which case, we do not have a current solution.

I have used OCO stops/targets in past but right now just adding my scale in's and putting stop above manually usually after first order is filled.

There are no brackets or OCO so for instance trying to sell 1 at 4003 and 1 or 2 at 4005 when I hit hotkey to move limit only the 4003 moves. In my opinion ALL limit orders should move so that the distance between them stays the same. This is how Jigsaw does it and the 3rd party DOM for Bookmap too which they later acquired also moves all limits. A lot of times at extremes there are stop runs and its wonderful to get into them and have price instantly reverse. I can't move the farther away limits so don't really use this method in Sierra but want to, I'm missing so many nice trades due to this and when I catch it only have 1 contract as its very hard to put the other orders in after first fill.

Can this be added, I don't think it does this now.

In fact in other programs you can have 2 or 3 scale in's on bid to buy and 2-3 scale ins on offer to sell and the hotkeys to move them up and down move all the buy and sell limits to catch sweeps during volatile times like today!

We have marked this as a Feature Request.

Just keep in mind that we do not know (and can not say) when we will get to any particular feature request.

Ok thanks always just assumed this was a feature but I couldn't get it to work some how. I'll just have to in mean time put limit scale ins much further apart!
