I get data from Sierra Charts ( SC Data-All Services).

My broker is Interactive Brocker.

How can I connect both trading via IB and data from SC ?

If I set:

Current Selected Service (List) ---> Interactive Brokers (Trading) I don't get data from SC anymore.

You do need to set your Current Selected Service to Interactive Brokers. In order to get connected to your Interactive Brokers account follow the instructions at the following link:

Sierra Chart is setup to allow you to get data from us and connect to your trading account. You are properly setup to get the data for the CME Group from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. If you are not getting the data when connected to your IB account, then the reason would have to be that the setting for Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support For Sierra Chart Data Feeds is set to No. Be sure to set this to Yes and then after closing that window select File >> Disconnect followed by File >> Connect to Data Feed.

Also, make sure you are using the correct symbols for Interactive Brokers. After you change your service, you are prompted to update symbols. But you can also force this to occur by opening your Chartbooks and selecting Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service.

I now get data and can also trade on the chart.

But when I open a completely new symbol, no historical data is loaded. I only see the current ticks that are visible on the chart.

If you are referring to the symbol AMT, then the first thing to understand is that this data is coming from Interactive Brokers. You are not setup to get any stock data from us (Sierra Chart). You are only setup for real-time data for the CME exchange of the CME Group from us.

We have heard of a few problems recently with historical data from IB. You need to ensure that you are on the most recent Pre-Release of Sierra Chart and the most recent (Stable) release from Interactive Brokers. This should resolve your data issues for U.S. stocks.
