I'm charting NQ and have MNQ set as the trade and current quote symbol. I'm trading with a spreadsheet and it picked-up the NQ currency value ($5/tick), so have set a custom currency value of $0.50/tick in symbol settings for NQ.

- 0.50 is now correct in the spreadsheet (J56).
- Chart > Chart Settings > Symbol menu is correct and has currency value (0.5) and Tick size (0.25).
- The trade window correctly shows Open Profit/Loss with "p" or "t" format when selected in Chart Settings -> Trading.

But chart trade window's DAILY profit/loss only shows in "Points" (i.e. "D:168T"), so cannot ignore quantity and display "p" or "t" values. Documentation said to check the currency value per tick at Chart > Chart Settings > Symbol, but it's correct and shows 0.25:
Chart Settings: Profit/Loss Format (List) (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu)

The only way to have the daily PL ignore quantity and show "t" (i.e. "14t") is to add the "Trading: Profit/Loss Text" study which has that option. So that I don't have to draw text on the chart, is there a way to have the chart's Trade Window Daily Profit/Loss use the "t" and "p" Profit/Loss format? I think it's possible according to the documentation, which says:
The Position Profit/Loss setting sets the format of the Open Profit/Loss display for the Trade Position line on a chart and all other Profit/Loss displays on the chart and Trade Window for the chart, including the Daily Profit/Loss.

If it matters, I have two computers and am trading live on one (Teton) and sim trading on another. SC 2419.

Okay, I must have missed it, but further down the documentation says the Daily Profit/Loss cannot use the Profit/Loss format:
In the case of Daily and Cumulative Profit/Loss values, the quantity will always be considered. So therefore the full quantity will always be used. In this case you will see an uppercase T.

Which seems to contradict another bit of documentation at the beginning:
The Position Profit/Loss setting sets the format of the Open Profit/Loss display for the Trade Position line on a chart and all other Profit/Loss displays on the chart and Trade Window for the chart, including the Daily Profit/Loss.

It looks like that feature was maybe "disabled" at some point, which is a pity. If I'm scalping I DO NOT want to see the cumulative Daily Profit/Loss with quantity enabled. That is too distracting. I just want ticks "t" as a scorecard. That's why people disable the currency value too. I found I can just disable it all with Chart Settings > Trading > Profit/Loss Format(List): Do Not Display.

That is sufficient I guess, but the Open Profit/Loss then doesn't show the green/red real-time feedback anymore (handy for scalping), and I have to still use the "Trading: Profit/Loss Text" study to keep track of daily P/L in "t" ticks. Would you consider an option to simply remove the Daily Profit/Loss from the Trade Window? It could possibly be set at:
- Chart Settings > Trading > Display Daily Profit/Loss {yes|no}.

No and we will make the documentation clear about this:
is there a way to have the chart's Trade Window Daily Profit/Loss use the "t" and "p" Profit/Loss format?
