Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart.

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#MessageLog

We will then determine what the problem is.

I have the same issue. I have package 11 as well and use CQG as my data feed. I currently have the latest Sierra chart version. I think I'd have to downgrade to version 2393 and lower. But having the integrated service package with sierra, nowhere in the CQG Trading Platform documentation does it mention that I have to use a specific version for Sierra to connect to CQG data feed. If the version you're running is the issue then it specifically should mention that within the CQG trading platform section. Also it doesn't say that if I want to use the current Sierra chart version that I'd have to pay for the Exchange fees through Sierra even though I already pay my broker for CQG data. I think all of that should be stated in the CQG trading platform section for new and existing users who are trying to make the switch.

Though Sierra previously did state that in order to use CQG data feed you would have to run version 2393 and lower and also pay for the Exchange fees with Sierra. But then it said that you wouldn't need to if you had the integrated service packages. Everything's really all over the place.

Could you please explain more in detail what it is we should do?

Do you pay for the exchange data through sierra or just your broker for cqg? Thanks for the replies

arcadef1:

First, you are not setup to get real-time data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed.

Second, we are no longer allowing data from CQG into Sierra Chart for the CME Group and EUREX. This is why you are not getting any data right now.

To fix this, you need to setup the Denali Exchange Data Feed and get the data from us. Refer to the instructions at the following link:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

I think all of that should be stated in the CQG trading platform section for new and existing users who are trying to make the switch.
The documentation does say this:
CQG Trading Platform Service

From documentation:
Streaming Real-Time Data: For CME Group and EUREX only provided when using the Denali Exchange Data Feed. Market data from these exchanges is not supported from CQG. For other exchanges you need to use market data from CQG.

Historical Intraday Data: For CME Group and EUREX only provided when using the Denali Exchange Data Feed. Market data from these exchanges is not supported from CQG. For other exchanges you need to use market data from CQG.

Historical Daily Data: For CME Group and EUREX only provided when using the Denali Exchange Data Feed. Market data from these exchanges is not supported from CQG. For other exchanges you need to use market data from CQG.

We have done more updates on the CQG documentation page to make this clear.

Though Sierra previously did state that in order to use CQG data feed you would have to run version 2393 and lower and also pay for the Exchange fees with Sierra.
This has never been said. It makes completely no sense you would have to pay an exchange fee to both CQG and Sierra Chart.

But then it said that you wouldn't need to if you had the integrated service packages.
No, this is not said either.

Yes I might not have explained in the best or correct way but I did not say you have to pay for your broker and sierra at the same time. I said that you'd have to pay for the exchange fees to Sierra if you want to use the latest versions. I also think it should be added, that in order to only use CQG as your data feed that you have to run prior versions of 2394 and earlier, on the CQG section.

The last part I said is incorrect yes. It's just really confusing reading about the denali exchange data feed and then read about cqg and then some other sections. Thanks for the reply John and Sierra_Chart Engineering.
