I went thru this tutorial - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdaHr32LveQ&ab_channel=SierraChart

But it does not say how to actually activate real time data. My account says that real time CME data is supported, but my chart shows 10 minuted delayed data. How do I fix this?

With regards to real-time data for the CME Group, first understand the requirement from the CME Group for a live, funded, trading account to qualify for the non-professional exchange fees here:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges

If you have a qualifying account, then follow the instructions at the following link to setup the real-time data:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

Note that you will have change to one of the Integrated packages in order to get the real-time data. During the trial we want you to work with the Delayed Streaming Data, which acts the same as the real-time data, but is delayed by 10-15 minutes (depending on exchange). The delayed streaming data is free as long as you have an active Trial or paid package.

Thanks! So I'd need an account with one of these brokers, correct?:
Interactive Brokers Live account
Rithmic Live account
Sierra Chart Futures Order Routing Services including Teton
CQG Live account

Almost.

You would need an account with Interactive Brokers.

Or, you would need an account with a broker that uses one of the following order routing services:
- CQG
- Rithmic
- Teton Order Routing Service
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

Thank you, I set up an account with interactive brokers and connected it... however, the pricing is off. the ES prices are off by a few points but the times seem accurate. Do I need to do something else to get ACCURATE real time data?

First thing, in order to get real-time data into the system, you will need to be on one of the Integrated Packages that we offer. If you switch before your trial is complete, you will still get the Trial days that you have available. For example, if you have 5 days of trial left and you activate Package 10 for 31 days, you will have a total of 36 days of Package 10 (the 5 from the trial plus the 31 from the package).

To add funds and select a package, follow the instructions at the following link:
Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Instructions

The differences in the Integrated packages can be found here:
Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Integrated Packages

Once you have your paid package setup, then you can setup the Denali Exchange Data Feed for the CME Group data. Follow the Setup Instructions for this here:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

Note that you will need to connect to the Interactive Brokers account at least once a month to verify the account for the CME Group non-professional exchange fees. Refer to the information here:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees

Thank you! I only trade the E-mini S&P future... so I can activate #4 = CME with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts
I'd get /ES data with market depth, correct?

Hi, I set up account with Interactive Brokers and it worked well. Then Interactive Brokers delayed my data, and so I updated my account with them to receive real time data, which it is doing now. However, Sierra charts is still showing delayed data, while Interactive Brokers is showing real time data.

Is there something I need to "reconnect" within Sierra Charts?

Since you are getting your data from Interactive Brokers you need to have your Data/Trade Service Settings set to connect to Interactive Brokers. Our servers are showing that your Current Selected Service is set to SC - All Data which would mean that you are getting the data from us, and since you are not setup to get real-time data, you are getting our delayed data.

To connect to IB, follow these instructions:

Back here... I tried to figure this out but it is incredibly confusing. IF I do NOT want to use interactive brokers... how do I set up Sierra charts with Level 2 data for ES & NQ?

There's an exchange agreement form that hasn't been completed from a little while back but it asks for a trading account number and a clearing firm. I don't know what those are. It says if I don't have them, I have to pay for the fees. What are the fees?
